Annually, the National Title I
Conference brings together education leaders and key thinkers to
discuss programs, policy, and promise for students served by Title I.
Title I is the largest federally funded pre-college education program in the country. It is the cornerstone program of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, providing more than $19 billion annually to the nation’s school districts for the education of disadvantaged children. As a signal of the importance of aid to disadvantaged students, the Administration added billions of stimulus dollars to Title I for 2009-2011.
Title I programs pay for curriculum materials, professional development services, and other essential educational purchases. The National Title I Conference is the only national conference and exhibit hall that focuses on this huge market. The majority of attendees at this event
hold significant buying authority for their organizations.
