The 2011 National Title I
Conference will be held in Tampa, Florida at the Tampa Convention Center from Monday, January 31 through Thursday, February 3,
2011. This
website contains all the information currently available about the
Conference and is updated frequently. For further information, please select from the drop down menu at the top of this page. About the Conference- An annual project of the National Title I
Association, the National Title I Conference is the premiere event for
individuals working within the Title I program.
- With more than one hundred nationally
recognized speakers and thousands of colleagues with whom to compare
notes, this is the ideal place to further your knowledge about Title I
programs, policies, and great ideas.
- In addition, participants will take home
practical information and be the first to hear about what Title I will
look like in the coming months and years.

This year's Conference sessions will focus on three primary
themes:

Who Presents? Speakers at the 2011 National Title I
Conference will be identified in early September and listed on this
website. Proposals are now being sought from a wide variety of sources. Learn more about how you can present. The list below represents a few of the outstanding speakers from the 2010 National Title I Conference.
- Mary Bacon - a Teacher, University Instructor, Counselor,
Psychologist, and School Administrator. Mary Bacon gave an
impressive presentation on the importance of reclaiming African American
youth.
- Ron Clark - a New York Times
Bestselling Author and founder of the Ron Clark Academy. At the 2010
Conference, Ron Clark shared inspiring stories of his student's enormous
success, which led them all the way to the White House where they were
honored by the President.
- Arne Duncan - United
States Secretary of Education. Speaking at last year's Conference, Arne
Duncan provided important insight into the Obama administration's
education agenda.
- Marc Lamont Hill - a nationally recognized scholar, author, critic and Professor of Education at Columbia
University. Dr. Marc Lamont Hill
treated Conference attendees to an uplifting presentation on youths in the
21st century.
Exhibit
Hall
Another important
element of the National Title I Conference is the opportunity for
school and district professionals to learn more about the products and
services showcased by the more than 175 companies in the Exhibit Hall.
Time spent in the Exhibit Hall provides attendees with first-hand
knowledge about hundreds of products and services commercially
available to improve instructional practices and increase students’
potential for success.

Registration Procedure- All Conference registration is
completed online, there are no paper forms.
